Can Prunera Museum of Modernism (Sóller)

A Modernist building that has been turned into a Museum, at the center of Sóller. Opened in 2009. Works by artists such as Barceló, Miró, Picasso, Klee or Magritte. Original furniture and magnificent indoor garden.

Prehistoric village of Capocorb vell (Llucmajor)

It is one of the most important archaeological sites and one of the largest prehistoric villages in Mallorca. Today there remain 5 talayots in it and 28 dwellings. It was inhabited until the Middle Age.

Bellver Castle (Palma)

It is dominating the bay and a large part of the island of Mallorca. It was built from 1300 until 1310 on the orders of Jaume II.  It is a circular Gothic-style castle.4 towers and a central courtyard

General admission: 4 Euro

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday:  10.00-19.00 (Winter)

Lluc Sanctuary (Escorca)

It was the first Marian shrine in Baleares, founded in the 13th Century. It is a sign of identity for the inhabitants of Mallorca. One of its most important parts is the choir school: Es Blauets. Its museum was opened in 1952.

The Almudaina (Palma)

It is the Royal Palace in the city. It was rebuilt in 1309 on the orders of king Jaume II, according to the Royal Palace of Perpignan. Nowadays it is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family in Mallorca.

Admission: 9 Euro (guided tours 15 Euro)

Opening times: Tuesday – Sunday, 10.00-20.00

Wednesday & Thursday, 17.00-20.00, free entrance for European citizens


The Cartuja of Valldemossa

It was originally a royal palace. In 1399 it was ceded to the Carthusian monks who lived there until 1835.  Do not miss its ancient pharmacy and the cells where Frederic Chopin and George Sand lived from 1838 to 1839.

Admission: 10 Euro.

Opening times: 09:30-19:00
