TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

NAME: BANK OF SÓLLER

Located on Calle Constitució, 21 (Sóller), the building of the Bank of Sóller is one of the most emblematic of the municipality.

Its construction dates back to 1889 and it was built in order to guard the capital accumulated by migrants returning to the village.

It was the work of Jose Rubio i Bellver and highlights its dual platform and forged impressive and striking windows, Art Nouveau Modernist style and clearly influenced by Gaudí.

It is divided into three floors and stands the impressive limestone façade built with a double box and the size of the head of a lion carved in stone. Its entrance is dominated by a round arch and windows are of irregular shape.
