TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

NAME: CAN PICAFORT – SON REAL

The purpose of this circular route is to visit the necropolis of Son Real dating from the seventh century BC This route is simple and can be done either on foot or by bicycle. It lasts two hours and starts from the parking located just in front of the stream of Son Bauló (Can Picafort).

We will pass through a pristine beach that quickly takes us to the necropolis of Son Real, where we can enjoy the views out Ferrutx, Pinar and the island of Es Porros. Just behind the beach, a wooden staircase leads down a path that will get us in the houses of Son Real, a estate where there are also an interpretive center and a museum.

On our way back along the beach of Son Real, we will find high towers that during the Spanish Civil War were used to monitor the bay of Alcudia.
