NAME: ALFÀBIA’S GARDENS

In Bunyola, just before taking the road to Sóller and located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, we find Alfàbia, a set of house, gardens and orchard declared a National Monument. Alfàbia was an old farmhouse. Its beauty strikes us from the entrance: a wide avenue of three roads, known as the "paseo del salón", surrounded by large banana trees. One of its most emblematic elements is the pergola with its fountains, rebuilt in the eighteenth century and decorated with 30 stone water jars. The water's murmur is a treat for the senses. The front of the main house is Baroque, and there is a courtyard where stands a silversmith for over 20 meters and over a hundred years old.

To get there: Palma-Soller road, km 17
