This mountain route has a gradient of about 1200 meters and will lead us to one of the most spectacular fishing villages of Majorca. It takes about five hours to be completed and it runs through about 60 km. The starting point is the city of Palma, from where we will drive towards the village of Puigpunyent through beautiful forests of oaks and pines. Once there, we can see this beautiful little village of stone houses.

We will continue the journey towards Es Grau, reaching a height of 448 meters. From the top we will be able to enjoy a magnificent view of the area. The road continues to climb until we reached the intersection of the La Granja de Esporlas, an old Majorcan Estate, typical from X century, that we will have the chance to visit and where we can discover  a part of the life and history of the families who lived there.

From this point, we head towards the Coll d'en Claret, a further rise that will allow us to enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Palma and the Tramuntana mountains. Now we will take the road towards the Port of Valldemossa, where you have to be careful with the road as it is a winding down a path that was used in ancient times by smugglers.

The Port of Valldemossa is unique, and once there we can make a stop and rest, since the ascent, on the same road, it is very hard. Once up, we go towards Valldemossa, a village of great cultural interest, for there we find the Cartoixa, where the musician and composer Chopin spent a long time together with his lover, the writer George Sand. After visiting the village, we will make our way back on the main road that leads from the town to Palma.
